Can I source card-payment terminals from China?
Card-accepting payment terminals are a special case: they need PCI PTS hardware certification, EMV Level 1/2 certification and card-scheme (Visa/Mastercard) approval to process payments in any market. Many retail "POS terminals" are non-payment Android devices that pair with a separate certified card reader. We are explicit about which category a product falls into and only describe a unit as payment-certified where it genuinely holds the certifications.
Can POS terminals be supplied pre-loaded with our EPOS software?
Yes. Android and Windows terminals can ship with a custom OS image and your EPOS application or launcher pre-installed, plus your branding. Tell us your software stack and peripheral list at brief stage and we configure and test with the factory before shipment.
Are the scanners and printers compliant for my market?
For the EU we verify an EU Declaration of Conformity covering LVD, EMC, RoHS and, for wireless models, RED. For other markets we check the equivalent: UKCA or CE in Great Britain, FCC in the US, ISED in Canada, RCM in Australia. We obtain manufacturer-signed documentation rather than a third-party certificate.
What is a typical first order and lead time?
