From your brief to your goods in Ireland.
Four clear steps. No surprises. Everything managed from the factory floor to your Irish door.
- 01
You send us a brief
Tell us the product, rough quantity, any spec or reference you have, and your timeline. WhatsApp or email is fine. Ten minutes of your time is enough to get started.
No long forms. No onboarding process. Just a direct conversation about what you need.
Detail: What helps: product name or reference, target quantity, any samples or images you have, budget range, and timeline. - 02
We identify and vet the right factory
Based on your brief, our China team identifies manufacturers — not trading companies — with the right capability. We visit the facility, verify production capacity, check export history, and negotiate price at factory level.
The sourcing report you receive includes a shortlist of vetted suppliers, FOB pricing, sample costs, MOQs, and lead times.
Detail: Active factory relationships across Zhengzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Zhongshan — covering every major Irish import category. - 03
Pre-shipment QC and CE compliance check
Once production is complete, Noel or a senior Ériu QC specialist inspects your order at the factory before a container is sealed. This is a physical inspection — not a paperwork review.
For regulated products (electronics, construction materials, children's apparel), we verify CE marking documentation and EU compliance standards at the point of origin. Problems fixed in China are cheap. Problems fixed after the goods land in Dublin are expensive.
Detail: Inspection covers: product count, visual quality, labelling and packaging requirements, certification verification, and carton/pallet spec. - 04
Freight coordination and Irish delivery
We coordinate the freight booking, export documentation, and shipping logistics. For full container loads (FCL) or consolidated shipments (LCL), our team works with established freight partners to get your goods to Ireland efficiently.
You get advance shipment notification, tracking references, and a clear landed cost breakdown — no surprises at the port.
Detail: Transit times: ~25–35 days sea freight from Shenzhen/Guangzhou to Dublin. Air freight available for urgent, lower-volume shipments.

China sourcing to Ireland — process questions answered
Last reviewed: May 2026
How long does sourcing from China to Ireland take?
The full process — from initial brief to goods landed in Ireland — typically takes 8–14 weeks. Factory identification and pricing takes 1–2 weeks. Sampling and approval takes 1–3 weeks depending on complexity. Production takes 3–6 weeks. Sea freight from China to Ireland takes 4–5 weeks. Air freight is available for urgent orders, reducing transit to 5–7 days.
What information do I need to provide to get a sourcing quote?
To start the process you need: the product name and category, target quantity or annual volume, any existing product references or specifications, quality grade required, target landed price, and your destination in Ireland. A photo or product link is helpful but not essential. The more specific the brief, the more accurate the factory pricing and lead times provided.
How does pre-shipment quality control work?
Pre-shipment QC is a physical inspection of finished goods at the factory before the shipping container is sealed. The inspection checks product specifications against your approved sample, verifies quantities, reviews packaging, and tests product function where applicable. If goods fail inspection, they stay in China at the factory's cost — you do not pay freight on rejected goods. This eliminates the risk of discovering quality problems at Dublin Port.
