Is this commercial-grade seating or domestic furniture?
Commercial-grade. We specify contract-rated frames, joints and foams tested for non-domestic use (EN 16139) and contract-abrasion upholstery, not domestic furniture sold into commercial settings. That is what decides whether seating survives a busy venue.
Can the seating be upholstered in our own fabric or brand colour?
Yes. Foshan contract factories work with COM (customer's own material) or a specified fabric and colour, with frames powder-coated to match your brand. We approve a sample before the production run.
Does restaurant seating from China meet fire regulations?
Upholstered seating is tested to EN 1021-1/-2 for ignitability, the standard used for commercial premises across Europe. We request and check the test reports before shipment on every upholstery order. If your market has its own rules, such as BS 7176 in the UK, tell us at brief stage and we confirm the factory can test to it.
What minimum order makes direct sourcing worthwhile?
