The short answer: We manage private label and OEM production in Shenzhen and Dongguan for US brands. You or your customs broker act as importer of record, ocean shipments need an ISF filing and a customs bond, goods must be marked with their country of origin, and duty is quoted at the rates in force when you order.

The problem

The first order is easy. It is the third order, with a different material and no one telling you, that breaks a brand.

Private label goes wrong slowly. The golden sample was perfect, then the factory swaps a material to protect its margin, or a subcontractor makes your packaging, or your mould turns up in someone else's product. By the time reviews tell you, the stock is already on the water.

We put a team on the ground between you and the factory. Golden samples signed and kept, tooling ownership in writing, inspection against your specification on every run, and one person you can call.

  • Vetted factoriesManufacturers checked in person, with business licences, capacity and real production lines verified.
  • Samples and tooling managedGolden samples signed off and stored, moulds made to your spec with ownership in writing.
  • Packaging that sellsPrinted retail boxes, inserts, barcodes and labels made to your artwork in Dongguan.
  • QC on every runInspection against your specification before every shipment, not just the first.
Importing into the US

What applies when you bring private label into the US.

Update, 10 November 2026: 178 Section 301 product exclusions for Chinese-origin goods are due to expire on 10 November 2026. If a product of yours relies on one, its duty may rise. We check this in every US quote.

Checked 16 October 2026. Rules change, so we confirm what applies to your exact products and HS codes in your quote. This is general guidance, not legal or tax advice.

Tariffs change often: quoted on the day

The Supreme Court struck down the IEEPA tariffs in February 2026, and a new Section 301 tariff on Chinese-origin goods took effect on 24 July 2026, with some exemptions including smartphones. Older Section 301 duties still apply to many products. We quote landed cost with the duty in force on your order date and confirm it with your broker.

De minimis no longer applies

The $800 de minimis exemption has been suspended for all countries since 29 August 2025, and CBP made the suspension indefinite in June 2026. Low-value shipments now need an entry and pay duty.

Importer of record, bond and ISF

Formal entry is required above $2,500. Ocean shipments need an Importer Security Filing (ISF 10+2), and a customs bond is required. Most importers use a licensed customs broker.

Country of origin marking

Imported goods must be marked with their country of origin, legibly and permanently, under US customs rules.

Country of origin marking

Your product and packaging must show the country of origin. We build it into your artwork and labels at the factory.

Duty on your codes

Section 301 duties depend on the exact HTS code. We classify your products with your broker before you commit, so the margin is real.

We quote landed cost at the rates in force on your order date.
