Inspector in Shenzhen testing a replacement phone screen, with trays of screens waiting to be checked before shipment to Ireland
Phone repair parts for Irish phone shops

Phone parts, tested in Shenzhen before they reach your bench.

Screens, batteries and repair parts for iPhone and Samsung, bought in Huaqiangbei and checked one by one before they ship. Accessories, smartwatches and gadgets on the same order. Bad batches stay in China, not on your shelf.

Why parts go wrong

You find a bad screen after you have fitted it

Most replacement parts sold in Ireland and the UK start in Shenzhen's Huaqiangbei market. The problem is not where they come from. It is that nobody checks them before they leave.

  • Grade names are not standardised. One stall's "soft OLED" is another's hard OLED.
  • Batches get mixed. Ten good screens and two with dead pixels or a weak touch layer.
  • Batteries can be old stock or under their rated capacity, and they need dangerous-goods paperwork to ship legally.
  • Logo-copied parts can be seized by customs and put your shop's name at risk.

Every comeback costs you the part, the labour and the customer's trust. We put the testing where it is cheapest: in Shenzhen, before anything is paid for or shipped.

What we test before anything leaves Shenzhen

Parts that fail are rejected in China and never reach you. You get the test record with every packing list, so a warranty claim can be traced back to its batch.

  • ✓Screens, every unit: dead pixels, colour and brightness uniformity, full touch-grid test, frame and connector fit
  • ✓Batteries, every unit: capacity against rated mAh, cycle count, cell date code, no swelling
  • ✓Ports and cameras: function test by sample on each batch
  • ✓Accessories: AQL sampling inspection; chargers and earbuds function-tested
  • ✓Grade labelling: every part labelled by model and grade, so you know exactly what you are fitting
  • ✓Paperwork: UN38.3 reports for batteries, CE and RED documents for chargers and gadgets

The rules are moving towards repair

A good time to be an independent repairer

Since 20 June 2025, EU ecodesign rules require phone makers to keep spare parts available to professional repairers for seven years after a model stops being sold. Ireland's Right to Repair regulations came into force on 31 July 2026, and the CCPC's guidance says a manufacturer cannot refuse a repair just because an independent repairer has worked on the phone before.

Customers are keeping phones longer and fixing them more. The shops that win that work are the ones with reliable parts at a fair price, and with an honest answer about which grade went into the phone.

Is this right for you?

This is a good fit if…

  • You fit screens every day and are tired of returns from bad batches.
  • You buy through UK or EU parts distributors and want to cut out a layer of margin.
  • You want accessories, smartwatches or gadgets on the same shipment as your parts.
  • You run more than one shop and want one supply line for all of them.

If you only need a few screens a month, a local distributor will be quicker and simpler, and we will tell you that on the first call.

Common questions

Phone repair parts from Shenzhen, questions answered

Last reviewed: October 2026

Why buy phone parts through Ériu rather than straight from Huaqiangbei?

You can buy direct, but grade names are not standardised, one stall's soft OLED is another's hard OLED, and you only find the bad screens after you fit them. We buy on the ground in Shenzhen, test before we pay, reject weak batches there and ship what passed. You get Shenzhen pricing without carrying the risk of a bad batch yourself.

What do you test before the parts ship?

Every screen is powered up and checked for dead pixels, colour and brightness uniformity, a full touch-grid response and frame and connector fit. Batteries are capacity-tested against their rating, with cycle count, date code and swelling checked. Charging ports and cameras are function-tested by sample per batch, and accessories go through AQL sampling inspection. Failures are rejected in Shenzhen and you receive the test record with the packing list.

Will aftermarket screens and batteries show a message on iPhones?

On recent iPhones, yes. A part that is not a new genuine Apple part shows a notice in Settings, and Apple's support pages describe 'Unknown Part' and 'Used' messages. The phone keeps working. What else changes (True Tone, battery health display) depends on the part and the iOS version, so we test current stock against the current iOS and tell you what each grade does before you order. Your customer should be told which grade went in.

How long does it take for parts to reach Ireland?

Common screens and parts are usually in stock in Shenzhen, so they can be tested and packed within days, then reach Ireland in roughly one to two weeks by air express. Batteries travel as dangerous goods on approved routes, which can take a little longer.

What is the minimum order?

First orders typically start from around €3,000, mixed across models, grades and part types. That is what makes the testing and consolidated freight worth it. If you only need a handful of screens a month, a local distributor will be quicker, and we will tell you so.

Do you supply counterfeit or logo-copied parts?

No. Aftermarket parts are described as compatible ('for iPhone 14'), genuine pulled parts are described as genuine pulls, and we do not ship parts or accessories carrying copied brand logos. Logo-copied goods can be seized by customs, and they put your shop's name at risk.
